WESTERN SYDNEY UP MARKETS
Thanks to Maria Cignarella (Secretary), Alan Fowler (Vice Chairman), Chandresh Patel (Treasurer) and Charlie Daher (Chairman) of Wentworthville Community Business Committee who has made this event happen.

40+ exhibitors will tale part in 7 July event and as WESTERN SYDNEY WANDERER will be coming to the inauguration. This definitely a good day for wentworthville.

Update: Wentworthville Station Upgrade Confirmed - Gladys Berejiklian

Minister for Transport Gladys Berejiklian have confirmed Wentworthville station upgrade on her website. 
 


She also points out similar work currently underway at Auburn and Fairfield station. for more information please see :

Wentworthville Station to Get Lift!

Because of the efforts of Dr. Geoff Lee and 11,000 people signed petition, lift at Wentworthville finally received a go ahead and funding from 770$ kitty.

Dr Geoff Lee @LeeLiberalParra explained the parliament with following statics:
The demographics of Wentworthville show that 6.4 per cent of the residents are four years old or younger and 8.4 per cent are 70 years old or older. About 1,280 residents of Wentworthville use the train as their usual method of travelling to work and 463 residents of Wentworthville need assistance with their core activities.

Mr NATHAN REES from Toongabbie supported Dr Geoff Lee and Ms GLADYS BEREJIKLIAN (Willoughby—Minister for Transport) also made contribution to the discussion in legislative assembly.

Maria Cignarella, of the Wentworthville Community Business Committee, said the state government decision to fund two lifts for the station would help thousands of people.
